Jelikož je v zimě v čase schůzky brzo tma, rozhodli jsme se věnovat zimní měsíce řádnému tréninku střelby (technika spouště, správný postoj, zamíření, obraz mířidel a obsluha zbraně) proto jsme hledali řešení které bychom mohli uplatnit ideálně v klubovně. A podařilo se. Postavili jsme si vlastní laserovou střelnici díky aplikaci DryFireOnline.com. Pomocí počítače a projektoru je terč promítán na plátno a střelec používá ke střelbě cvičnou zbraň - upravená airsoft zbraň s laserovým modulem. Pomocí kamery v mobilním telefonu je pak snímán zásah "bliknutí" laseru po stisku spouště.
Počáteční technické potíže (zejména nastavení mobilního telefonu pro spolehlivé snímání zásahů) bylo pozděj vyvázeno celkem zajímavou schůzkou.Na první seznámení s tímto systémem to nebylo špatné, na konci schůzky byl u většiny členů vidět značný pokrok v úspěšnosti zásahů.
Rozhodně budeme tuto aktivitu zařazovat častěji. Již máme připravené různé varianty a programy. Takže se mají naši FOXáci na co těšit!

Since it is dark during our troop meetings in the winter, we decided to use the time to properly train our shooting abilities (trigger technique, correct posture, aiming, sight alignment, proper gun operation). For this purpose it was essential to find a solution that would work in our clubroom, and we found one that would allow us to make our own shooting range thanks to a computer, a projector and an app called DryFireOnline.com, the targets are shown on the screen. The shooter uses a laser-powered practice gun to shoot laser blinks on the screen to be captured with a mobile phone camera.
Although we had some technical difficulties at the beginning, mostly with the camera to capture laser blinks correctly, it ended up to be a very interesting troop meeting, even for it beign the first time to familiarize ourselves with such a system. At the end of the meeting, good aiming and hits of most of our members visibly progressed.
We will for sure programme this activity more often in the future, we already have many variants ready for some of our future meetings, our FOX troops members have a lot to look forward to!
